Week 13-16

Week 13
The interior continues to take shape. All wall paneling has been installed upstairs, electrical wire has been pulled through and ready for final connection. Downstairs, the electrician is working on installing the panel box. Workers continue to install the wall paneling. Exterior doors are being hung and primed with paint. The toilet block continues moving toward completion. The contractor believes the project will be finished middle of September.

Week 14
The most noticeable change this past week is the color. The work crew has painted the exterior with primer. The upstairs bedrooms are taking shape fast. Ceiling fans have been installed, electrical outlets have been terminated, and doors have been installed. The toilet block was determined that it was too narrow thus the wall was torn down and extended out two more feet. This is a small set back to the toilet block construction. Anywhere between 20 – 30 men work on site daily, the project is one busy place.

Week 15
The septic tank pad has been poured, the backhoe dug the drainage field and the toilet block has a new exterior wall. Work is being done for the men to start laying tile for the downstairs and the stairs will soon be constructed for upstairs access.

Week 16
The septic tank walls have been laid. The upstairs bedrooms are almost complete. The second coat of paint has been applied, the wood floors will be sanded and finished next week. The stairs are being installed. Downstairs, work is being finished with the installation of paneling and the first coat of paint being applied. Another noticeable exterior feature is the solar water tank that has been installed on the roof.
