Prayer

This week’s prayer focus:

• The work of checking and revising the Akukem translation of Matthew resumes this week. Pray for the Akukem translation team and for Norm Weatherhead as they work together to make the translation accurate and clear. Pray for good rapport and for clear communication among all the team members as they work together.

• Give thanks with us for Al Whaitener, a contractor friend of missionaries Bob and Jacque Harper, who is donating a month to help meet a critical need for missionary housing in Madang. He, Bob, and a small team of Papua New Guineans are hard at work converting unused space into two 1-bedroom apartments. Pray for safety and good health for these men as they work together. Pray that they will be able to complete the project while Al is here.

• Pray that God will show us how to empower and encourage our Papua New Guinean co-workers so that they can teach and empower others.

• Pray that God will provide at least 5 new team members strongly gifted in administration by the year 2013.
